Abuse
Abuse or maltreatment can come in various different forms, but in general the three most common forms of abuse are sexual, emotional and physical.
Physical abuse generally involves injuries, and often you may be too traumatised or emotionally involved with the perpetrator to report the incident/s which then leads to further abuse which may be classed as emotional.
Emotional abuse is very seldom reported, and includes ill behaviour like verbal criticism, constant disapproval remarks which in turn diminish your self-worth and confidence.
